Computer Training Services Course Syllabus
Course Description: This course is designed to provide students with the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary for using computers. Students will learn how to use computer hardware, software, and applications in order to become more efficient and productive. The course will cover topics such as computer basics, operating systems, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet usage, and more.
Course Objectives:- Understand the basic components of a computer system
- Learn how to navigate different operating systems
- Become familiar with various types of software applications and their uses
- Develop proficiency in word processing programs such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs
- Create spreadsheets using programs such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Utilize database management systems (DBMS) to store data and generate reports from it
- Use the Internet safely and securely for research purposes or online shopping/banking activities
- Understand basic concepts of cyber security and data privacy protection measures when using computers or the Internet for personal or business purposes
- Troubleshoot common computer problems independently or with assistance from technical support staff/experts if needed
- Develop effective strategies for time management when working on projects involving computers or other digital devices
