Course Description:
This course will provide comprehensive coverage of the different areas related to starting and running a successful non-profit organization. This includes exploring the legal aspects associated with creating a non-profit, building an effective board of directors, creating a mission statement and drafting bylaws, developing fundraising goals and techniques, managing financials such as budgeting and tax filing requirements, and understanding grantsmanship principles and options for grant funding research methods.
